Community Food Response (CFR) is a volunteer-led nonprofit that provides free meals to hungry people to take home or eat elsewhere.
The food we distribute is donated by restaurants, cafeterias, businesses and grocery stores. In addition to helping people in need, CFR helps reduce the amount of food waste generated by area businesses.
Clients can visit CFR at the Exchange:
The Exchange is at 3945 10th Ave. NW, Rochester. This is just north of 37th Tire and Auto and just east of Gage East Apartments. (GPS maps may not be accurate, look for the visual landmarks)
The Exchange is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 to 6pm.
Bethel Lutheran Church site is currently closed due to COVID-19 concerns.
To donate any portion of your Stimulus Check to Community Food Response, click on Donate above. 100% of your gift will be used to feed hungry families in Rochester during the Covid-19 pandemic.
During the COVID-19 pandemic we are distributing pre-filled bags outside to our clients to maintain social distance. Please follow KTTC.com for updates.
We need additional volunteers to continue our mission of feeding the hungry during this difficult time. To volunteer, go to the “How You Can Help” page.
No proof of eligibility is required to receive food.
